KMR Consulting was founded in Oman, a country rich in history and understated beauty, by Dr. Khalid Al Araimi. He comes from the Al Fannah family, a distinguished lineage of the Al Araimi tribe, known for their maritime trading heritage spanning over 200 years. This family traces its roots to the historic town of Sur, renowned for its seafarers and merchants. In the early 1900s, they operated more than 20 ships in the Indian Ocean.
Fast forward a century, and Sheikh Mohammed Rashid, Dr. Khalid's father, played a pivotal role in establishing Galfar, Oman’s largest construction company, which has been publicly traded on the Muscat Stock Exchange since 2007.
